Organisation

The South East Forum is a partnership of 18 universities and colleges in the South East of Scotland, working collaboratively and with other stakeholders.

The South East Forum is hosted by Edinburgh Napier University who have responsibility for SEF staff and financial reporting to the Scottish Funding Council on behalf of the partnership.

There are a number of groups who support the work of the South East Forum as described below. 

South East Forum Council

The Council membership is made up with Principals or their representatives from SEF's college and university partners. This group meet once a year and have responsibility for:

  • advising on and approving the Forum's Strategic Plan and Operational Plan;
  • electing voting members of the Forum's Executive.

South East Forum Executive

The Executive is made up from SEF's partner colleges and universities and are elected by the Forum Council. They are responsible for implementing the Forum's Strategic plan and monitoring the work of the Forum.
