South East Forum 2008/09 Annual Report
The South East Forum's 2008/09 Annual Report is now available.
The annual report this year provides details of the impact that our work with schools and adults has made. There are case studies and evidence of the partnerships that support the work that is achieved.
The impact at a glance
• SWAP- East recruited 426 students in 2008/09 with 82% of students progressing on to university• 680 learners participated in an Access to Industry programme in 2008/09 with 60% achieving positive outcomes such as moving onto FE, HE, training and employment.• Across the South East 17 out of the 19 priority schools who took part in S2-S6 activities demonstrated a positive change in their progression to Higher Education over a 4 year period. 13 of these schools also demonstrated an increase in their S5 staying on rates.
