We are pleased to announce that Sian Fiddimore has been appointed Chief Executive of Access to Industry.

Access to Industry has had a very successful year and has been short-listed for several awards including:

• Scottish Urban Regeneration Forum Partnership Award
• Children and Young People Services Youth Justice Award
• Herald Award – Community Project of the Year

The SWAP-East Tracking and Retention Report by Dr.Mandy Winterton was published.

LEAPS will begin to work in Scottish Borders Schools from late November 2008.

The first meetings of the Forum’s two new Strategic Advisory Groups (SAGs) have now taken place.
